Kiwengwa è un litorale di spiaggia tropicale che si estende per chilometri lungo la costa est dell'isola. La si raggiunge in circa un'ora dall'aereoporto ed è in una posizione strategica per esplorare  tutte le altre mete di Zanzibar.

Kiwengwa è una lunghissima distesa di sabbia bianca. Protetta dalla barriera corallina è famosa per il fenomeno delle maree che qui, più che in altri luoghi, regala uno spettacolo indimenticabile. Con la bassa marea emerge infatti una spiaggia infinita e l'oceano si tinge di colori mutevoli e strabilianti.

Kiwengwa è una spiaggia vivace in cui puoi fare lunghe passeggiate, praticare vari sport acquatici, curiosare nei negozietti di artigianato locale o semplicemente oziare bevendo una fresca noce di cocco.

Per questo Kiwengwa è una delle mete più richieste dell'isola e sede di numerosi servizi per il turista. Ma non preoccuparti, troverai comunque una natura genuina, selvaggia e sbalorditiva

Kiwengwa is a tropical beach coastline that stretches for kilometers along the east coast of the island. It can be reached in about an hour from the airport and is in a strategic position for exploring all the other destinations of Zanzibar. 

Kiwengwa is a very long stretch of white sand. Protected by the coral reef, it is famous for the phenomenon of the tides which here, more than in other places, offers an unforgettable spectacle. In fact, at low tide an infinite beach emerges and the ocean is tinged with changing and astonishing colours. 

Kiwengwa is a lively beach where you can take long walks, enjoy various water sports, browse the local craft shops or simply laze around drinking a fresh coconut.
